Grounds

Will Teass

The PTO Grounds Committee is responsible for maintaining Ludlow-Taylor’s outdoor space and assisting the custodial staff with facilities needs inside the building.  The committee holds the annual Beautification Day the Saturday before school starts as well as various plantings and clean-up days throughout the year. Ludlow-Taylor is very excited to have RiverSmart and FoodPrints gardens that this committee will help maintain.

Teacher Appreciation

COMMITTEE CHAIRS:
Jill Verret
Evelyn Mitchell

This committee helps make sure that our teachers feel how much we appreciate them, including organizing Teacher Appreciation Week, holiday and end of year parties, and monthly surprises. Members often liaise with class room parents to help coordinate school-wide appreciation activities.

Families, neighbors, community organizations, and local businesses together strengthen the Ludlow-Taylor community. Family members and neighbors are needed to chaperone field trips, help with FoodPrints, support classroom and specials teachers, share their talents, and celebrate student successes.
