About the Auction
Each year, the Ludlow-Taylor PTO hosts the Taste for the Arts Auction. This event is an opportunity for families, teachers, staff, and community members to spend a fun night out in support of our school.
The PTO invites you to the 2020 Taste for the Arts Auction and Gala on Saturday, March 28 at Ivy City Smokehouse.
The event features an online silent auction and in-person silent art auction with an array of fantastic items—donated by businesses from across Capitol Hill and Washington, DC and created by our students and community—food, beverages, and giveaways.
This year, we will kick off the Taste for the Arts auction with a month-long opportunity win prizes donated by local businesses! The Daily Prize Board will run the first four weeks of March leading up to Taste for the Arts on March 28th. Buy a week of the Board for $10 or the entire Board for $30 and be eligible for daily prizes, including restaurant gift cards, soccer lessons, yoga passes, a cash prize, and more.
To date, the Ludlow-Taylor Community has raised over $180,000 through sponsorships and auction proceeds!
Funds raised through the auction directly benefit student learning. Auction proceeds support teacher training, experiential learning resources, technology investments, supplies, and more.
