Do I need to be good at golf to play?
Absolutely not. Some people come to compete. Some come for the drinks, the raffle, and the questionable swings. Everyone is welcome.

I’m not golfing, but my partner is. Do I need to buy an After Par-Tee ticket?
Nope! Your admission to the Family After Par-Tee is already included with your partner’s golf registration.

Neither my partner nor I are golfing. Can we still come to the After Par-Tee?
Absolutely! We’d love to have you. Adult tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased separately.

Do I have to pay for my kids to attend the After Par-Tee?
No! All kids attend for free.

Will there be activities for the kids?
Yes! We’ll have plenty to keep the kids entertained so they can have a great time while the adults enjoy dinner, drinks, and (hopefully) finish a conversation.

How do I buy an After Par-Tee ticket?
Head to the same registration site where golfers sign up. On the payment page, simply scroll down and select the “Non-Golfing Adult” ticket option.

What does my ticket or sponsorship support?
Every dollar raised goes directly back to Ludlow-Taylor. Your support helps fund programs, experiences, and resources that benefit our students and teachers throughout the year.

What kinds of sponsors are you looking for?
Businesses, families, friends, and community partners are all welcome. There are sponsorship opportunities at every level, from holes and the Family After Par-Tee to contests, refreshments,
and more. If you’d like to support the event through sponsorship, an in-kind donation, or a financial contribution, we’d love to hear from you.

What’s the biggest way I can help?
Two things:
1) Sign up to golf.
2) Help us find sponsors.
Those two things make the biggest impact on how much we’re able to raise for the school.

Can I volunteer if I don’t golf?
Definitely! We need volunteers throughout the day to help with check-in, contests, setup, breakdown, and the After Par-Tee. If you’d like to lend a hand, let us know.

Can I invite friends who don’t have kids at Ludlow-Taylor?
Please do! This event is open to everyone. Friends, neighbors, coworkers, family members, fellow golfers, etc. We’ll gladly welcome them all. More players and supporters mean more money for Ludlow-Taylor.

Does Langston Golf Course even still exist?
It does! Thanks to the work of the National Links Trust, Langston has been preserved and continues to be DC’s most historic public golf course.

Will the After Par-Tee start right after golf?
Yes. We’ll roll right from golf into the After Par-Tee. And yes, we learned a few things from last year, so expect a smoother, less chaotic transition. And more lighting!

What if it rains?
We’re hoping for sunshine, but we’ll have a weather plan if Mother Nature decides to get involved. We’ll communicate any changes to registered participants.

What should I wear?
Golf attire for the course. Casual is perfectly fine for the After Par-Tee. Bonus points if your outfit somehow embarrasses your foursome.

Can I come by myself?
Absolutely. We’ll happily pair individual golfers with a great group.

I’m terrible at organizing a foursome. Can I register as a single golfer?
Yes! Register yourself and we’ll pair you with other golfers. Some of the best groups from previous years started as strangers.

Why is there a discount for registering a foursome?
You did the math! We want to encourage you to invite your friends! Registering as a foursome also makes tournament planning much easier, allowing us to spend less time organizing groups
and more time creating a great event. Everybody wins, but most of all, Ludlow-Taylor!
