Passing
Dribbling
Spot Shooting
After completing our unit on basketball, we ended the last lesson with 6 stations based on the skills we learned over the past few weeks. Passing Dribbling Spot Shooting Students practiced wrapping the ball around various body parts, to help work on ball handling. Passing was one of our favorite lessons. Here students are practicing accuracy by counting how many passes they can make to a target. To help students improve on their dribbling, I had students practice dribbling the ball once in each hoop. This helps them to slow down and focus on the actual cues of dribbling and hand-eye coordination.
