Taste for the Arts Auction: The auction is a wonderful event for families, teachers, staff, and community members to spend a fun night out in support of our school This year’s event will be held this Saturday, April 7th at St. Marks Episcopal Church on Capitol Hill. If you have not already done so, please visit: https://www.ludlowtaylor.org/taste-for-the-arts-auction.html, to buy tickets for the event. Free tickets are also available to any family, please just let your homeroom teacher know. Our online auction has already begun at www.biddingowl.com/ludlowtaylor with some very exciting items including box tickets to see the Nationals and U2, incredibly artwork from Mr. JP and local artists, along with the ever-exciting Principal for the Day item.
As a staff, we recognize and try to limit financial asks and will always value time and support of families over any financial contribution. We do promise to make the most of donations, with no overhead and direct support to our classrooms. Just this year, we have been able to purchase clay for our art room, add 32 chromebooks, extend FoodPrints, add high level professional development through Columbia University and more. With your support, we look forward to continuing to provide a world-class education for all students at Ludlow-Taylor.
2018-2019 Re-Enrollment: Please stop by the main office to re-enroll as soon as possible for 2018-2019 – it is now open! We have not yet been given a date for after-school enrollment, which is usually in early May, but as a reminder, students first need to be registered for school before they can register for after-school.
Friday Half-Day/After-School Announcement: There is a half-day this Friday, with students dismissed at 12:15 p.m. and teachers partaking in records day. We unfortunately do not have the ability to offer after-school coverage on half-days.
