Author/illustrator/husband/wife duo Matthew Swanson and Robbi Behr will be visiting our school on Friday, September 27. There will be two assemblies for students: PreK-grade 2 at 9:15-10:15 and grades 3-5 at 2:05-3:05. During these assemblies, they'll talk with kids about the writing process and how they create their books. Robbi and Matthew are very dynamic and fun and we are excited that our kids will have an opportunity to spend time with this creative team!

Matthew and Robbi have created these wonderful books:

THE REAL McCOYS
Self-proclaimed super genius Moxie McCoy sets out to find a new best friend while solving the crime of the century, only to discover the hard way that she can’t do either without the help of her understated (and undersized) brother Milton. A densely illustrated, lighthearted middle grade whodunit for grades 3-7. Amazon Book of the Month; Junior Library Guild Selection; Starred reviews from School Library Journal, Booklist, and Publisher’s Weekly. Price: $15 hardcover; $8 softcover.

TWO’S A CROWD (The Real McCoys, Book 2)
As the critically acclaimed Real McCoys series continues, self-styled super-detective Moxie McCoy reluctantly partners with her little brother Milton to figure out who sent Moxie’s best friend Emily a mysterious anonymous letter. Differing styles and opposite opinions spark sibling rivalry and a race to see who can solve the mystery first. A densely illustrated, hybrid whodunit for grades 3-7. Price: $15 hardcover

EVERYWHERE, WONDER
The pyramids of Egypt. The far side of the moon. A row of ants on the sidewalk. Everywhere, Wonder chronicles a child’s journey of coming to notice, appreciate, and share the world’s abounding wonders, from the inarguably grand to the utterly ordinary – around the world and in his own backyard. (ages 3-7). Price: $15

BABIES RUIN EVERYTHING
A little girl’s perfect life is turned upside down by the arrival of a boring, crying, ruinous baby brother. Outrage and complaint is followed by acceptance and realization little siblings make excellent allies. The perfect gift for people expecting a second child (ages 3-7). Price: $15
BOOK SALE AND SIGNING!
Students may
pre-order signed books until September 24. Books will also be for sale on September 27. Students may pay with cash or a check (made out to Bobbledy Books).
