DESCRIPTION:Transitions: Middle School to High School | specialeducation \n\n\nLocation: Zoom\n\n\n\nDetails:\n\n\nJoin us online on Monday\, March 22\, 2027\, for our Family Empowerment Series training “Transitions: Middle School to High School.“ \nIn this session\, we will equip you with the necessary tools and knowledge to support your students through this significant life change. Whether your students are considering a post-secondary track in college and career\, applying to or enrolling into selective high schools\, or simply growing up into their older teen years\, this training is invaluable! While this training is specific to middle and high school parents and caregivers\, we recommend this session to families with students of all ages! \nWe will cover important topics such as \n\nAcademic expectations\,\nSocial adjustments\, and\nEffective communication strategies.\n\nREGISTER HERE \nWant to study up early? Check out our office’s YouTube page featuring a series of six dynamic videos on Special Education in DC! All videos are available in English and Spanish with open captioning.
